Hello, and welcome to the site!,Firstly let me introduce myself. I am Richard Mark Taylor I was born in North Yorkshire, England in 1976 and now live and work in Dublin. I achieved a distinction on a BTEC foundation course in Art & Design from The Yorkshire Coast College Scarborough in 1996 and went on to gain a 2:1 Degree in Photography & video design in 2000. I relocated to Dublin, Ireland in 2002 and am currently the business manager for a busy Photographic retail store and photo lab. I was trained in the traditional methods of photography, Darkroom processing, hand printing and studio production but have embraced digital photography as my main creative output method. I am currently working on projects that combine traditional methods and digital technology in the creation of my artwork. I am working as a freelance photographer available for Weddings, PR and Event photography, Portraiture and Social photography and for commissions on Editorial and Fashion Photography. I work along side stylists, make-up artists and fellow creative people to produce a final image that goes far beyond the pressing of the shutter! I am a fully trained photo retoucher with over 10 years work experience within the photo finishing and retouching industry. I have been working in Photographic Retail Management since 2000 and have Managed photographic businesses in the UK & Ireland. I am available for all your photographic needs.
