Rick Taylor is a photographic Consultant and photographer primarily, Rick has worked as a freelance Photographer in Ireland since Mid 2004. – His focus in photography ranges from Conceptual fashion, Beauty, Portraiture and event photography.
Rick's work stands out from others, his distinctive and polished style is a combination of lighting technique, Art direction, post-production and his emotional connection to his subjects.
"Photography is my passion as well as my profession. When I am not “working” I am always reading, learning and trying out new techniques. I eat, sleep and breath photography! I have been professionally involved with photography for over 20 years, working in the photographic services industry, photographic retail, photographic consultancy and freelance photography"
Originally from the North of England, Rick comes from a fine art background studying Art & Design then completing a BA in Design {photography & video production} in Greater Manchester in the 1990's. Rick is currently based in Dublin, Ireland where he has been settled for the last 20 years.
Rick is at home both in the studio and on location and always ensures that each shoot is unique and special. A great deal of planning and organization goes into every shoot from research, concept development, story-boarding and designing lighting diagrams.
